Hours

I have now moved to Montreal. It hasn't sank in yet, I think because I have moved already 3 times this year, my home is where my laptop is and now it is in Montreal. I've been here for 2 days so I do not have miles and miles of stories to tell yet, but shortly:
  • Christ, it's warm here, by warm I mean hell, by hell I mean 30 something degrees.
  • Our street sounds like zillions of air conditioners having a party.
  • Coffee is kept in freezers here, for reasons I do not get, must be the heat.
  • They keep shoes outside the front door, it's too hard for an eastern-european girl to take in, I keep my shoes indoors, leaving them out might cause panic attacks.
  • Jet lag keeps me entertained, woke up at 3 am hungry as ever, fell asleep at 8pm, woke up at 5 am feeling fresh and terribly hungry, but so far I've made 2 hour progress, lets see if I can manage to sleep till 6am tonight as my bizarre behavior is bugging my honey, who has to go to work in the mornings and he has got sympathy jet lag, cute.
  • I'm scared of the cat, shes huge and doesn't understand English and looks at me funny when I tell her : "Le bla, le bla bla lba, le bla?" (my version of French).
  • I'm scared to go out alone, in this neighborhood all streets look alike, I'm capable of getting lost very easily and house numbers that start with 6 thousand something are not reassuring me.
  • Dr Phil and Oprah are on exactly at the same time as last year, my afternoons are booked with them hehe.
So that's it for so far. To be continued....

I just spoke with the girl's mom to advise her the cat's food was running away... She advised me that they would come and get the cat soon during the next week I guess... The cat won't scare anyone... Let's keep the milk drops and the minouches and the canned food and give those to andrew's cat, Mojo! maybe that cat will stop being mad at me for no reason if I treat it hehe...
